Drone repair in Bruges

Plenty of light aircraft, plenty of strict rules.

Flying over the centre of Bruges is all but impossible, so most pilots move to the edges: the ramparts, the Damme canal, the polders towards Zeebrugge. That explains what reaches us from Bruges. Rarely heavy aircraft, but plenty of Minis and Airs, because those stay under the weight limits that matter here.

Light aircraft have their own weak points. The gimbal is more fragile, the ribbon to the camera tears sooner when folding, and a landing in the wet grass of the ramparts is enough to let moisture in. On a half-kilo aircraft, a bent motor shaft changes everything.

We are forty-five minutes away, but you do not have to drive. Your aircraft goes by courier and sits on our bench the next morning.

Repairs

What reaches us most often from this region

Gimbal and camera

Small motors that keep shaking, ribbons torn at the fold, an image hanging crooked or soft on one side. Often the result of thousands of folds.

Mainboard and flight controller

Broken traces, burnt components, memory shaken loose. We solder on the board itself rather than replacing it, even when the part is no longer supplied.

Arms and shell

Broken arms, hinges with play, a cracked underside after a hard landing. Usually the most visible damage and rarely the most expensive.
