Terms and conditions
Article 1 — Scope
These terms apply to every repair entrusted to DroneMedic, whether agreed online, by phone or on site. Departures from them are valid only when confirmed in writing. The customer’s own terms do not apply unless expressly accepted in writing.
Article 2 — Inspection and quote
On receipt we open the aircraft, take measurements and send you our findings with photos and a fixed price. No repair is carried out without your prior and express approval. A quote remains valid for thirty calendar days.
Article 3 — Inspection fee
The inspection is charged from 49 euros including VAT. If you accept the quote, this amount is deducted in full from the final invoice. If you decline, only this amount remains payable and we return the aircraft in its original condition.
Article 4 — Performance and turnaround
The stated turnaround of five working days on average after your approval is a target, not a guaranteed outcome. Where parts lead times are outside our control we inform you as soon as possible with a new date. Exceeding the target gives no right to compensation or termination, save for gross negligence on our part.
Article 5 — Price and payment
All prices shown are indicative, VAT and part included, unless stated otherwise. The final invoice is payable on receipt of the aircraft unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where a business customer pays late, statutory interest is due by operation of law and without notice of default, in accordance with the Belgian Act of 2 August 2002 on late payment in commercial transactions.
Article 6 — Warranty
We provide twelve months of commercial warranty on the work performed and on every part we fit, running from the invoice date. This warranty does not cover new damage, a new crash, water or impact damage occurring after the repair, normal wear, or the consequences of work by third parties.
This commercial warranty is without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity under Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.
Article 7 — Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have fourteen calendar days to withdraw from a service contract concluded at a distance, without reason and without cost, in accordance with Article VI.47 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.
If you expressly ask us to begin the repair before that period expires, you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. We request that consent explicitly with the quote. If you withdraw during performance, you pay for the part already carried out at that moment.
To withdraw, an unambiguous statement by email to info@dronemedic.eu is sufficient.
Article 8 — Shipping and risk
Shipping to our workshop is at your expense and at your risk. Return shipping within Belgium is included in the price and is at our risk. Pack the aircraft as described in our confirmation email; damage resulting from inadequate packing falls outside our liability.
Article 9 — Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount of the repair performed, save for intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit, or loss of footage or data. Remove your memory card before sending.
Article 10 — Uncollected aircraft
Aircraft not collected three months after our notification, or for which the invoice remains unpaid, are treated as abandoned. We then have them recycled in accordance with electronic waste regulations.
Article 11 — Complaints and disputes
Complaints should be submitted within seven calendar days of receipt, by email to info@dronemedic.eu. We reply within one working day.
If we cannot resolve matters together, you may as a consumer apply free of charge to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service, Koning Albert II-laan 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels (consumentenombudsdienst.be), or to the European ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
Belgian law applies exclusively to our agreements. Disputes fall under the courts of the West Flanders judicial district, Veurne division, without prejudice to the consumer’s right to bring proceedings before the court of their domicile.
