Component-level drone repair

Drone repair in Arlon

Forest and distance: losing the aircraft is the main risk here.

  • ProvinceLuxembourg
  • Distance to the workshopabout 300 km
  • TurnaroundFive working days
  • WarrantyTwelve months

Arlon lies in the most heavily wooded part of Belgium, against the Luxembourg border. Forest is the hardest terrain there is for a drone: it blocks GPS, breaks the signal, and catches aircraft ten metres up where you cannot get them back.

What reaches us from this region is therefore often more badly damaged than average. An aircraft falling out of a tree does not fall gently. Arms break, the gimbal gives up, and if it spent a night in the moss, moisture is added on top. That is more work, but it is almost never hopeless — which is exactly where component level makes the difference.

You are far away, but shipping costs you no time. We look, and you hear within one working day what it is.

Repairs

What reaches us most often from this region

Arms and shell

Broken arms, hinges with play, a cracked underside after a hard landing. Usually the most visible damage and rarely the most expensive.

Motors and ESCs

A motor that stutters, an arm that will not spin up, controllers blown after a crash. We replace the failed component, not the whole module.

Water and salt damage

Out of a ditch, a pond or the North Sea. Fast ultrasonic cleaning is the difference here between saving and binning. Do not switch the aircraft on to test it.
